Despite the weather, we had a great turn-out for the events that kicked off Shadweek 2011.
Fishing Derby
There were 88 fishing competitors (adults and children). All children received trophies. The winners of the Derby were:
First Place: Ryan Slaven; Catch — 24.5 inch, 6 pound catfish
Runners Up: Dave Johnson; Catch — 17.5 inch, flathead catfish and Jim Perry; Catch — 15 inch striper.
Easter Egg Hunt
At least 400 attendees with over 200 children participated in a dash for Easter goodies.
