Light the Park

The Friends are working to bring lights to Penn Treaty Park to enhance safety and cut down on vandalism. Recently, a solar lighting company presented their products to the board. Someone spray-painted graffiti on the wall surrounding the monument to William Penn. The words “Nokietz Gang” are written in black. The police are investigating, and the Friends are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who defaced this monument.
